Volunteer your time and skills and make a lasting impact on local mental health.
We rely on local people to support us to raise money to carry out our work, and we’re really grateful for all the support we receive from the local community. Whether you want to develop your skills or support a cause you care about, you can expect to have lots of fun and meet some great people through volunteering.
Through your skills, expertise and time, you are playing a vital role in supporting people who experience a mental health challenge in Tyneside and Northumberland. Whether it’s minutes or months, hours or days, the time you give really does matter.
Volunteering at your local Mind can be a really rewarding and useful experience – and there’s probably more ways of doing it than you might think. Volunteers raise awareness at events, support our team with back-office functions, and help facilitate some services. Would you like to play a part and support our community? If you are interested in joining the Tyneside and Northumberland Mind Team as a Volunteer please reach out. We’d love to have you join us! Email volunteering@tynesidemind.org.uk
