We host Safe Space and Wellbeing Groups with supportive spaces to engage in conversation, and 6-week Wellbeing Workshops to help you better manage your mental health.
We welcome any person from within the region to join one of our Safe Space Wellbeing Groups and Wellbeing Workshops. We do however require referral before attendance. We accept Self Referrals and referrals on someone’s behalf, with their consent, by health, charity and other practitioners from services.

6-Week Wellbeing Workshop
Our 6-Week Wellbeing Workshop helps you build practical skills to support positive mental health, wellbeing, confidence, self-compassion and independence. Through interactive activities, discussions and guided explorations, you will deepen your understanding of mental health and how to better care for your own with positive coping strategies. Together, we will help you build on your ability to overcome personal barriers, manage life’s challenges and support your own wellbeing. After the Workshop: You’ll be invited to join a regular social group to stay connected and continue building confidence.

Safe Space Group
Our drop-in Gateshead group gives local people feeling alone or isolated because of poor mental health the opportunity to learn new ways to improve their health and wellbeing, whilst enjoying the company of others.
📍When: Wednesday afternoon in Gateshead.
Creative Support Group
Our Gateshead Creative group uses creative activities to support your mental wellbeing, based in St Mary’s by the Tyne, a treasured heritage site in Gateshead.
📍When: Bi-weekly Wednesday mornings in Gateshead.
Peer Support Space
Our drop-in Peer Support Space gives local people an opportunity to connect with others and chat about how they’re feeling. Please note: Meetings take place every Friday, however a Wellbeing Coach is only present during every session that takes place on the 4th Friday of the month.

Safe Space Group
Our drop-in Newcastle group gives local people feeling alone or isolated because of poor mental health the opportunity to learn new ways to improve their health and wellbeing, whilst enjoying the company of others.
📍When: Bi-weekly on Thursday afternoon in Newcastle
This service is NOT accepting new clients, please complete a referral to our 6-week Newcastle Wellbeing Workshop instead.

Wellbeing in Nature Group
Join us at our plot at The Meadows Community Centre, and get growing – mentally and physically! Chat with others about all things wellbeing and mental health, develop self-help coping strategies and new skills. Members also have the opportunity to become advocates on wellbeing in nature, to leave a lasting impact on the community.
📍When: Bi-weekly on Thursday morning in North Tyneside.

Safe Space Groups
Our Safe Space Northumberland groups are for those who have limited social networks, feel alone or isolated because of their poor mental health and feel they would benefit from learning more effective techniques to improve their health and wellbeing.
📍When: Every 2nd Tuesday of the month in Alnwick.
📍When: Every 4th Thursday of the month in Alnwick (partnership with Escape Family Support).
📍When: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month in Berwick.
