Pull on your brightest knits, your silliest sweaters, or your sparkliest festive outfits, and support mental health across Tyneside and Northumberland in December 2026!
Christmas Jumper Day is a fun, simple and impactful way to bring people together during the festive season while raising vital funds for the mental health support our communities rely on.
Whether you’re at work, school, college or getting together with friends, every jumper worn and every pound raised helps us continue providing life-changing support to people here in our region.
By hosting a Christmas Jumper Day for Tyneside and Northumberland Mind, you’re helping to support the wide range of local mental health services we provide, including:
❤️Counselling
❤️Wellbeing groups and courses
❤️Our 7-days-a-week Support Line
❤️Mental health training across workplaces and communities
Your festive fundraising helps ensure no one must face a mental health challenge alone, especially during a time of year that can be difficult for many.
It also encourages conversations, reduces stigma, and reminds people that support is always available locally.
🎄 Save the date: Thursday 11 December – or choose any day in December that works best for your workplace, school or organisation.
🎄 Wear your most festive jumper – the louder, the better! Why not hold a competition for the best, funniest or most creative jumper?
🎄 Donate to support mental health – we suggest a donation of £2 or more per participant. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
🎄 Make it an event – add a bake sale, raffle, quiz or festive photo challenge to boost your fundraising total.
