We’ll be returning to Druridge Bay, Northumberland for yet another North East Skinny Dip event on Sunday 20th September 2026. The event, organised by the North East Skinny Dip team, challenges you to leave your inhibition at the shore and experience the freedom of unbridled nakedness- whilst raising funds for our local mental health services.

The North East Skinny Dip is a partnership event, organised by the NESD team. Tyneside and Northumberland Mind are the grateful recipients of all fundraising and donations tied to the event. Celebrating North East Skinny Dip 2025
Thank you to every individual who braved a sunrise naked dip, celebrated life, and the beauty of our unique bodies by taking a risk and being vulnerable at the North East Skinny Dip 2025. Additional thanks to all those that donated to a friend, family member or colleague, you have made a tremendous impact on local mental health services. Events like these are not possible without the wonderful people who give up their time and volunteer, the brilliant performers and local vendors who take to the beach the night before and morning of, creating a brilliant atmosphere hard to forget. Lastly, we thank the incredible NESD team, who make this event possible, thank you for choosing, yet again, to support Tyneside and Northumberland Mind’s local mental health services.
The North East Skinny Dip has fundraised for Tyneside and Northumberland Mind for more than 10 years, raising over £100,000. Each year, an incredible group of locals band together to host another beautiful, unique dip at Druridge Bay, Northumberland with the help of local vendors and lots of community spirit. The event has become a favourite amongst our neighbours and is known across the country for its ability to bring together local people in the most unique of way.
