Following an extensive planning, mapping and evaluation period we are now implementing Tyneside & Northumberland Minds’ newly complete three year strategic plan across the organisation. You can view this now here.
Tyneside and Northumberland Mind are an anti-racist and anti-prejudice organisation. We are committed to having frank, open conversations about all forms of prejudice and discrimination, including racism. We acknowledge that racism and discrimination exist in our sector and within our organisation, but we are actively working to move our charity, our people, and our sector towards equity. We are not perfect, and we are still learning, but we vow “to do the best we can until we know better, then when we know better, we will do better” (quote adapted from Maya Angelou).
