James describes his experience with Tyneside and Northumberland Minds’ Triple A service, supporting neurodiverse individuals in the region.
‘Triple A’ stands for Adult ADHD and Autism. A name and logo created by members of the service.
The Triple A service was founded in March 2023 by Tyneside and Northumberland Mind and was designed to support anyone in the North East, whether they had a formal diagnosis or not. In its first year Triple A worked with 50 individuals, and offered more than 200 hours of support. We received passionate feedback about the experiences’ of many who have been supported by the service.
In 2025 we re-launched the service with funding from NHS Gateshead ICB to support Gateshead residents awaiting a diagnosis of Autism and / or ADHD.
James, a client of the service, has kindly agreed to share his experience with the Triple A service, describing what it has meant to him.
