We provide support to those living in Newcastle, and experiencing mental health challenges, regardless of your diagnosis.
Safe Space provides a mix of facilitated group discussion, workshops and activities to help you to learn how to effectively manage your own mental health and get more control over your life. It will give you the opportunity to talk openly and discuss the issues that are important to you without fear of judgment.
This group is for you if you have limited social networks, feel alone or isolated because of your mental ill health and would benefit from learning more effective techniques to improve your health and wellbeing.
Takes place bi-weekly on Thursdays.

Our 6-Week Wellbeing Workshop helps you build practical skills to support positive mental health, wellbeing, confidence, self-compassion and independence. Through interactive activities, discussions and guided explorations, you will deepen your understanding of mental health and how to better care for your own with positive coping strategies. Together, we will help you build on your ability to overcome personal barriers, manage life’s challenges and support your own wellbeing.
After the Workshop: You’ll be invited to join a regular social group to stay connected and continue building confidence.

Tyneside and Northumberland Mind’s newest support service ‘Wellbeing, Tech & Me’ is an in-person 6-week digital confidence programme, designed to build your confidence, connection, and wellbeing in a digital world. If you’re 16 years of age and over and living in the North East this service could be right for you. Find the closest course to you and reach out for details.

Have you lost a loved one to suicide or traumatic death? We offer compassionate trauma support for children and young people affected by a death of this nature, aged 6 – 24 years (24 – 29 years for those leaving care), across the North East and North Cumbria region. Our Support Line provides a listening ear and mental health and wellbeing information everyday for those aged 16 and over, and living in Gateshead, Newcastle or Northumberland. Call us when you need us. Available weekdays 2pm-10pm and weekends 12pm-8pm.

ReVOC comprises of two specialist services, Violence Against the Person Service and Support for Mental Health Service; both dedicated to supporting victims of crime across Northumbria.
These support services aid victims, witnesses, and their family, residing in the Northumbria area.
