Be part of the next messy, muddy obstacle charity challenge supporting local minds in July 2027!
Join Tyneside and Northumberland Mind’s Muddy Obstacle Charity Challenge in July 2027, at Hedley West Farm, Gateshead. Fit for families, friends and colleagues aged between 5 – 80 years of age.
Experience this unique afternoon event that’ll have you climbing, crawling, sliding and running through trees and woodland areas – all with mental health in mind.
Take on the challenge solo or in your assembled team made up of family, friends or colleagues – and prepare to get very muddy and very wet at this epic local attraction!
Fundraise for us! We would really appreciate it if you could raise as much as you can through sponsorship or by creating your own Justgiving page on our Muddy Obstacle Event fundraising page here: Coming soon!
All money raised will enable us to provide local mental health services and raise awareness of mental health throughout our region. Any contribution in addition to your ticket purchase is greatly appreciated!
📧 Any questions you have before, during and after booking, please reach out. Email fundraising@tynesidemind.org.uk
Tyneside and Northumberland Mind’s Muddy Obstacle Challenge event is brought to life by Clarty Bairns founder Challenge Northumberland.

Can you attend without a ticket?
We welcome adults and children accompanying paying parties who wish attend, but do not want to take on the Muddy Obstacle Course to join us at the viewing area of the final obstacle (an epic man-made water slide near the course entrance). Any children will require an adult present at all times.
Can you bring food/drink?
We encourage you to make a day of it and bring food and drink to consume on site, as well as any seating equipment that would make you more comfortable e.g a foldable camping chair, blanket etc. However, food and drink options are available for purchase at the location by Challenge Northumberland.
