Our Wellbeing in Nature group offers a safe, friendly environment where you can connect with others, enjoy the benefits of gardening, and engage in meaningful conversations about mental health. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or need a peaceful escape from daily stress, our group could be right for you.
Our free mental health support group meets every Thursday morning at The Meadows Community Centre in North Tyneside. Open to adults of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of whether you’ve accessed mental health support before.
Each session offers:
🌿 Light Gardening Activities: Get hands-on with gentle gardening tasks like planting, pruning, and tending to the community garden. No prior experience is needed – just a willingness to get involved.
🌼 Relaxed Conversations: Share how you’re feeling with others in a safe, supportive space. Our discussions focus on wellbeing, self-care, and emotional health.
🌞 Skill Development: Learn new gardening skills, boost your confidence, and gain a new perspective on mental health through practical, creative activities.
🌳 Connection with Nature: Experience the benefits of the outdoors. This can reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall wellbeing.

✅ Free, Local & Accessible: Our sessions are completely free and held weekly at The Meadows Community Centre, which is easily accessible from anywhere in North Tyneside. You don’t need a referral or diagnosis – everyone is welcome.
