Dogs are mans best friend. They are the perfect little companions to help us out day by day. It has been scientifically proven that they can really help our mental (and physical) health. Dogs are a motivation to get us out the house and exercise is a great way to help combat depression. They also help calm you down just by needing attention and create a sense of being wanted, because everyone loves cuddles!

Everybody knows dog owners chat to each other, a good gaggle at the park or at the pub and it’s a great way to provide a conversation security blanket to avoid any anxieties or nerves.

Having a cute little furry friend to go home to every night relieves stress and offers a positive outlook on their home life. Unconditional love is what dogs do best and this will inevitably help boost self-esteem and confidence. They also give us a routine and schedule for people to focus on and let off steam with.

Animals also reduce negative behaviour and make us cheerier people, by giving us enthusiasm and that get-up-and-go attitude.

So don’t fret, and let your little pets healing qualities do their job and you will be happier for it!
