Well, what an absolutely brilliant AGM we had yesterday! There's so much to talk about we don't even know where to start!
First up we are proud to annouce that local MEP Jude Kirton Darling become the first ever patron of Tyneside Mind yesterday. We are so, so pleased to welcome her on board, so a massive thank you to her for coming to our AGM and speaking to everyone.
Next up - we were thrilled to announce our Mind Mood App will be launching on Monday! This is an exciting time for us as this is a brand spanking new system that can be available to all, and aims to help users track their mood, see patterns of behaviour that effect mood and share well being tips and advice. We'll share abit more about this with you on Monday, and hope you can all sign up and begin using it then.
More exciting news comes as yesterday we were able to agree that Tyneside Mind will be getting a name change! Once we've crossed the T's and dotted the I's we will be looking at calling ourselves 'Tyneside and Northumberland Mind'.
Lastly, we were delighted to welcome Paul Farmer to our AGM yesterday. Paul is CEO of National Mind and spoke to us about how well Mind is doing and how brilliant everyone is.
This really was the best AGM we think we've ever had, and we were so impressed by the turn out and that people gave up their time to be there. Once again we want to say a big thank you to everyone who is involved with Tyneside Mind, all our fabulous volunteers, staff and fundraisers. Like Paul said 'This is only possible if we all work together as a team'.
