  • Last week we blogged about our Mindfulness course - in life and practice - but did you know we also have an 'Introduction to Mindfulness' course?

    What's it all about?

Mindfulness is a way to have awareness of your mind and emotions in different situations with conflict within yourself and in relations to others. Its can support you to prevent stress, putting out the fire of anger, being able to take care of destructive emotions and help you to find a better balance between your mind, emotions and body reactions.

The result of mindfulness training is a better capacity to concentrate in your daily life, to find inner peace within yourself, to reduce anger and create better balance within you, both physically and psychologically. Mindfulness training is also an effective tool for stress and anxiety reduction and can be helpful in preventing depression. Mindfulness is a strong tool when facing high stress situations and relations in your daily life and in your workplace. It can be used to support people in need of stress reduction and depression or low self-esteem. It can give you support to create awareness and strengthen yourself to be able to be in contact with your inner potentials between thoughts, emotions, reactions and responses.

  • We love it when we recieve feedback, it really helps us to see what works and what doesn't. This week we got some really great feedback from an attendee of our Mind Matters training, thank you so much!

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in the training course I attended last Saturday (26th July 2014). You all three gave immense value to the training by your willingness to share some of the toughest times you have succeeded so well in getting through, and some of your most powerful feelings.

You all have great big courageous hearts like lions and I am proud to be able to say I have met you. I will never forget any one of you and promise you that I will use the insight you gave me to try to help make a difference to the young people I look after every day.
