We provide a wide range of projects aimed at supporting you on your road to recovery and better mental health.
All our projects are based around one of 4 themes; Support, Emotional Resilience, Skills Development and Lifestyle. Examples of some of these projects we offer are:
- Safe Space (an informal drop in type service)
- Wellbeing Groups
Support
We offer practical and emotional support in a non-judgemental environment. As well as receiving support from staff, you will be given the opportunity to share your feelings and experiences with likeminded people to build confidence, encourage independence and make a positive step on the road to recovery.
Emotional Resilience
We provide a range of groups and one to one sessions to teach you how to overcome life’s everyday challenges. Techniques will help you to remain in control when coping with difficult thoughts and feelings or facing personal challenges. Sessions provide a mutually supportive environment to help improve your confidence, mental health and general wellbeing.
Skills Development
The skills development service provides a wide range of opportunities to support you to develop work based skills. You can access support to help build confidence and self-esteem, which could encourage you to access and maintain further education, training and maximise your employment opportunities.
Lifestyle
Lifestyle activities are proven to elevate mood and improve people’s mental health. Living a healthy lifestyle and taking part in regular physical activity can support you to have a more positive outlook on life. Individuals who take part in activities often enjoy the social aspects of being part of a team or group. This can help you to build confidence and encourage you to take part in your local community.
