You know what's best for you but if you are looking to make some positive changes in your life we will support you every step of the way.
Understanding emotional triggers
Triggers can be people, places and situations and when we aren’t aware of what causes our triggers we often simply react to them. At Tyneside & Northumberland Mind we can help you recognise and work with your triggers, overcome the need to act and have more freedom to make the choices you want.
Feel good function well
Whether you are experiencing mental health problems or going through a difficult time in your life, we can provide informal one to one support, groups and counselling that wil help you live the best life you can through the long or short term challenges you are facing.
Try something new
A change of scene or a change of pace can be good for your mental health, even a few minutes to yourself can be enough to de-stress you. We can help you find new ways of taking time out of your normal routine, perhaps taking a half-hour lunch break at work, exploring somewhere new, or learning a new skill.
Support for recovery
Recovery is an individual journey that will vary from person to person. Whether it's continuing to pursue your personal goals and ambitions, maintaining a sense of control over your life and symptoms, or building a life beyond illness, our dedicated team can contribute to support you in your personal journey towards recovery.
Staying well
Talking about your feelings can help you stay well. It's not a sign of weakness it's part of taking charge of your wellbeing and doing what you can to stay healthy. If things are getting too much for you, or you feel like you aren't able to cope, don't be scared to ask for help. We're here for you.
