We’re excited to be partnering with RED January, a community initiative providing people with support and a focus during a characteristically tough month.
The aim is to be active every day in January whilst you fundraise for Tyneside & Northumberland Mind to help us provide local mental health services.
Whether it’s running 5k or walking to work a new way, learning new dance steps, a morning swim or just taking your bike for a spin. REDers in your community can join the thousands of people around the UK, kick-starting their 2019 in the most positive way.
We’ll support you through your whole RED January journey with local events including:
• Stretching and injury prevention
• motivational sessions
• activity sessions
• mindful walk and run sessions
You can even join our Facebook group to stay involved and share tips and advice with other local REDers.
Support your mental health this January by getting active every day, your way!
Why take part?
• Provides a focus and goal to keep you active
• Provides support from us and your fellow REDers in the community
• Encourages healthy habits to take forward into the year
• The funds you raise will enable us to provide local mental health services
