What you can expect...
Gibside Wellbeing Day - Tyneside and Northumberland Mind’s Wellbeing Day in partnership with Gibside, National Trust on Friday 10th Sept - World Suicide Prevention Day 10:30am to 2:30pm.
Come along for a free day of Wellbeing workshops, woodland meditation, mindful walks, and therapy activities.
Ramble with the Ranger – take a ramble around the forest with one of Gibside experienced Rangers
Forest Bathing – immerse yourself in nature in a mindful way, using your senses to derive a whole range of benefits for your physical, emotional, and social health.
Guided Meditation – look at ways that mindfulness can support our wellbeing.
Art Therapy – Find creative ways to support positive mental health.
Wellbeing Sessions – come along to our short talks on the benefits of sleep and mindfulness.
Talks on : Self Care - Sally Allan Presentation / Suicide Awareness / listening Skills.
All activities will need to be booked on arrival
